Stereosonic is an annual music festival held in Australia in November and early December. Stereosonic is held in Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Sydney, and Melbourne. Stereosonic is a collaboration of two major Australia promoters, Hardware and Onelove corporations, and presents a mix of electronic and dance culture music. It is considered to be Australia's fastest growing music festival. The festival promoters originally began working in Melbourne nightclubs.[2] They formed the company Totem who are responsible for Stereosonic. The 2013 festival director was Richie McNeill.[3] In 2013, the format of the festival shifted from a single day even to a two day festival. The 2009 event was the first to see all five cities host the event.
